Tea leaves are turning to beautiful yellowish green and fresh grass colours at the moment.

It's been such a long time since the last update.Anyway, let’s begin.(ーー;) During the season when Japanese bush warblers sing, we can visibly see the growth of tea leaves.The tea leaves color change from green into light green. Compared to last year, tea leaves grow faster due to the continuous warm days these days.From the pictures below, we can see the difference of tea leaves’ growth.Ten days earlier than last year, I guess.Besides, it seems each sprout grows bigger than usual this year.

When the tea sprouts get growth a bit more, it's time to be covered with black nets called “baron”.A week after this process, we finally start tea picking.By the way, some people might think tea picking is done by hand, but we actually do it by machine. Attached pictures are the same tea fields of 2018,2017,and 2016.Please note that they are not exactly taken on the same date.
