Guess what comes next after the second-grade tea picking?

The answer is cutting. After we finish the second-grade tea picking, we cut off the edge of the all tea trees. As we do so, the tea fields look just trees.I guess , no one can identify these as tea trees by it appearance.

Why do we need this process? To make our products better.Without this process, the tea trees would grow individually with different length. To avoid this problem, we absolutely need cutting. If the thickness of tea branches differ, the sprouts for the first-grade tea would not grow equally. Good materials make good products.

By the way, at Iwamotoen, the cutting process is not very simple due to the performance of our machines. The first machine with a rotating blade goes back and forth. Then, the second machine with another kind of blade goes also back and forth. In addition, we need to do each processes slowly , not at full speed. To make good products, we absolutely .

Although the first machine is for cutting as I mentioned before, we can use it for another process, fertilizer spraying for instance, if we attach other appliances. The second machine is for tea picking. Actually, we do nothing without these machines right now.
