The sun light encourages the growth of not only tea leaves, but also weeds.
It's been such a long time since last time I updated this blog.In the meantime,we are doing each process as usual.
We finished the second-grade tea picking in the mid-June. Apparently we can see weeds because we cut off the tea trees’ branches. Because we are just in the rainy season now, weeds grow unbelievably fast. So we are in the process of removing weeds. We pick the weeds in the tea fields by hand, while the weeds around the fields are removed by a machine and weed-killer. By the way, in my hometown, for some season we call a weed cutting machine as “Beaver“. I don't know the exact reason why we call it so, though. Also, we are in the process of scattering fertilizer right now. The third-grade tea picking has not started yet.
