We finished“first-grade tea”picking and production.

We’ve just finished the production of”first-grade tea“. It took about a month since April 13th. Because we have a volcano named Sakurajima in Kagoshima, it is common situation to have ash. This Sakurajima was so quiet just before we started tea picking. But it started explosion as we started tea picking. Explosion apparently brings ash. Furthermore, ash drop over our tea fields. To solve this problem, tea leaves cutting machine has a brush to remove ash from tea leaves.Besides, we wash tea leaves at a tea factory. The process of tea production consists of three procedure.(Washing) →Drying water →Removing water Lastly, tea leaves are brought in a steam machine.
