I talked about "Autumn skiffing" last time, so this time let me talk about "Fedge trimming". "Autumn skiffing" means to cut the top of tea leaves, while "Fedge trimming" means to cut the side of tea leaves. We have just finished the process of "Fedge trimming" today.Without this process, we could scarcely walk through a way of the tea field. Trunk is usually soft.On the other hand, the edge of trunk after being cut is really hard so it leaves a bruise on people's legs, when they try to go through the way. So we definitely need covers for the trousers in order not to ruin trousers when we work for "Fedge trimming" process.
