Large ingredient makes large products.

Bancha:Green tea made of tea leaves which grew into hard , old tea leaves, and stems.

We cut off all leaves after picking second-grade tea(Picture①)in order to increase the yield from our tea plantation next spring. A brown tea plantation has changed into green color.(Picture②)

By the way, third-grade tea is made of grown tea leaves, not new shoots. While first-grade tea is made of delicate new shoots, third-grade tea is made of large tea leaves. The product which is made of large tea leaves is commonly called "Bancha". The production process at the factory is the same as other tea products, but we need to use the different setting of a machine depends on the size, hardness, and the amount of moisture of tea leaves.

The size of "Bancha" product is large because the size of ingredient is large. Its flavor is plain. Enjoy drinking "Bancha" with a large-sized teacup.
